For the community, by the community

Looking to continue what they've started within their community, EMA Bulacan Highlanders FC has forged a partnership with a new ally that could set the tone for community football within the province of Bulacan.

EMA Bulacan Highlanders FC is taking a significant step in elevating community football in the province of Bulacan providing a free football clinic for the whole month of July to introduce the sport to the local community and identify promising young players who could become future stars of football in Bulacan.

As the club embarks on its mission to become Bulacan's premier football club, it all starts with how they want to lay out the foundation of their dreams so they can turn them into reality. That's why the Highlanders took a massive move to set up a strategic partnership with Maharlika Taguig FC.

Nearly two months ago, EMA Bulacan Highlanders FC, through the efforts of club manager Kads Mejia, managed to secure a partnership with Maharlika Taguig FC in their efforts aimed at not only enhancing the quality of football in Meycauayan but also throughout the entire Bulacan province.

As part of this partnership, EMA Bulacan Highlanders FC players will have the opportunity to participate in the prestigious AIA 7s Youth League, an initiative created by Anton Del Rosario, the founder of Maharlika FC and a former member of the Philippine Men’s National Football Team. This league is a platform for nurturing young football talent and will offer HFC players invaluable competitive experience.

Additionally, the partnership will provide HFC with insights into the operations of a professional football club that competes in the Philippines Football League (PFL). By observing and learning from the operations of a PFL club, EMA Bulacan Highlanders will be equipped to apply best practices and enhance their day-to-day management.

One of the most promising aspects of this collaboration is the potential for HFC players to be groomed for future opportunities with Maharlika FC’s PFL and Copa Paulino Alcantara teams. Through this partnership, EMA Bulacan Highlanders will act as a talent development hub, to produce players who could one day represent Maharlika FC in top-tier competitions.

Maharlika Taguig FC is renowned for its forward-thinking approach and commitment to discovering emerging football talents through the 7s Football League. Recognizing this, the Highlanders have embraced the opportunity to tap into this innovative environment to find the next big football star.

"We believe that in order to make our club as successful as we've envisioned it, we need to plant the seeds first and nurture them well until it's about time to harvest the talents within our community," said club manager Kads.

He added, "These free football clinics are our way to repay the community that supported and welcomed us in their warm embrace. The least we could do is to give them a taste of this amazing cake that we are all enjoying."

From July 14 to July 28, kids of all ages can drop by the EMA Town Center Football Field to learn the basics of football through the experienced coaches of the Highlanders. Those interested could send a message to the EMA Bulacan Highlanders FC's official Facebook page or contact 09171333464. The free football clinic will run for all Sundays of July which would allow kids and parents to see why they call it the beautiful game.
