BREAKING: Strauss questionable for Azkals Qualifiers due to Injury

With the joint 2022 FIFA World Cup and 2023 AFC Asian Cup just around the corner, the Philippine Azkals are yet to face another roadblock as midfielder John Patrick Strauss gets injured in his club match Vfl Osnabruck.

In their final match of the season, FC Erzgebirge Aue won against Vfl Osnabruck via two goals to one. Strauss came in as a substitute at half-time to get some playing minutes.

Though he might play most of the second half, he was then taken off two minutes before the final whistle due to an injury with him signaling that he can't continue.

Translation: Strauss has to go out injured. Noah Baumann comes for him.

Should he not be able to suit up for The Azkals in their upcoming fixtures, it would be a huge hole for the remaining players to fill in.
